Abstract EN

Food and medicine are among life necessities without which humans cannot live.

They are reasons for keeping good health and long life.

Therefore, there is an urgent need to clarify the canons of food and medicine consumption from the perspective of authentic jurisprudence.

This study is divided into an introduction, two sections, and a conclusion that states the most remarkable findings and recommendations.

It concludes with some results, such as identification of the standards of food and drug consumption in Islamic jurisprudence, so that these products may function according to Sharia regulations, using these standards as determining canons that govern new food and medicine products.

The study provides some recommendations and suggestions that pertain to the consumers as well as other consumption-related institutions.

Most of these recommendations are derived from the general findings of this research paper.
