This research, whose title is British-American Relations during the American Civil War, 1861-1865, deals with the nature of these relations and the impact of the emergence of this war and its developments on it.

Lincoln has established good relations with European countries, including Britain.

As for the second topic, it dealt with the details of the war and the incident of the detention of the British ship (Trent), which the Confederate envoys in the south to Europe and the accompanying tension in relations between the two countries almost led to the establishment of a war between them, but the wisdom of President Lincoln prevented this.

The third and final topic explains the impact of the president's announcement of the abolition of the slave system in 1862, on relations between the two countries
