Abstract EN

The best of the physical religious observances in Islam is performing the daily prayers.

Therefore, this research study tackles an issue often needed and should be emphasized, which is 'delaying the prayer when it is too hot' (al-'Ibrād bis-salāh).

This term means delaying the noon prayer when it is too hot until the sun has moved towards the west, the shade increased in length, and the temperature decreased.

The reason behind this is to spare the worshippers the harm of the heat, to enable them to pray in congregation (jamā'ah), and to be duly contemplative in their prayers.

The present research paper has reached many findings.

For example, this delay ('ibrād) is commendable (mustahab), and the call to prayer ('ādhān) is to have the same ruling, i.

it is commendable too.

The ruling of 'ibrād islimited to the noon (Az-zuhr) prayer, but it does not apply to the Friday (Jumu'ah) noon prayer.
