Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to come up with a proposed model for the digitization of academic counseling in Egyptian universities in light of the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, by making use of the global models of leading universities in the field of digital academic counseling as a main axis of the educational process in universities and an urgent necessity for the university student to settle in his studies and integrate into the university environment, and with the impact of academic counseling by the development of digital technology, educational technologies and means of communication, directly or indirectly; Global trends worked to take advantage of the developments and repercussions of the fourth industrial revolution by digitizing traditional academic advising to facilitate communication by creating a digital platform on the university's website to provide academic counseling service in a digital form.

To achieve this, the study used the descriptive approach to identify the theoretical framework of digital academic counseling, its emergence and development in universities in light of the fourth industrial revolution.

As well as describing the reality of academic counseling in Egyptian universities and identifying the attitudes of students and academic advisors towards digitizing academic advising.

The study reached the proposed model for digitizing academic counseling in Egyptian universities, its principles, themes, implementation mechanisms, possible obstacles to success the model and how to overcome them.
