Abstract EN

Although marriage is considered to be one of the most supreme and the purest human relations as the existence of a person isn’t competed but with the existence of a partner who understands and helps him with his life.

But what we notice is the existence of practicing violence from the husband’s part on their wives.

This violence differed and varied in shapes as there is violence by beating, burning, locking up, deprivation and violence in insulting, verbal abuses, and humiliation.

Now another type of violence which existed before and a long time ago but didn’t become a social phenomenon till lately, especially after the realization of many women to their rights towards their husbands, which is outstanding a woman either by abandonment, absence or by the existence of the husband while refusing to divorce.

This outstanding caused many problems to women and these problems were the starting point of this recent study which aimed to identify the social, economical and psychological characteristics of outstand woman.

This is beside identifying the most important problems facing outstand woman, It came The most important results were that the study sought to identify and came in the first place the legal problems, and in the second place of the problems faced by the outstanding woman were the economic problems.

Then we have the psychological problems in the third place, and finally in the fourth place we have the social problems.

As it aimed to knowing here expectations in the role of social specialist when dealing with her problems, and that turned out is strong agreement study individuals on the expectations of the role performed by social services administration in the courts while facing women problems.

that had been applied on sample of outstand women who call for cases to revoke marriage contract in the public courts in Riyadh with number of (175) women.
