Abstract EN

The current research aimed to measure the environmental awareness of the students of the fourth stage in the Faculty of Basic Education and all sections (scientific and human ) male and female.

The study sample (400) students and students from the community of students of the fourth stage of the College of Basic Education in the morning study for the academic year (2018-2019).

The results of the research were based on the environmental awareness scale used by Al-Zu'bi (2015), which measures the level of environmental information in the student.

It includes (24) paragraphs and scales (2000), which measures the trend towards the environment.

The method of honesty and consistency was found to become the two measurements ready to be applied to the research sample.

After the procedures of applying the research tools to the students and collecting the data and using them statistically using the statistical methods (the percentage test), the results indicated a decrease in the general level of environmental awareness among the students of the fourth stage of the Faculty of Basic Education.

The percentage of the general rate (63.5% ) compared to the satisfaction exam (70% ) with variation from one section to another, the human sections are better than the scientific sections, and did not show significant differences according to the gender variable (male and female) Students have positive attitudes toward the environment.
