The majority of the border disputes witnessed and still witnessing the Arab countries are due to the artificially drawn borders of the European colonization of this continent.

The sand war between the two neighbors Morocco and Algeria in 1963 on a border issue concerning a part of the Algerian Sahara is still a war.

The reasons and time are very uncertain because of the lack of information and facts about them.

This study aims to trace its roots dating back to the mid-fifties of the twentieth century, through the war of sand in 1963 to the intervention of the Organization of African Unity and resolve the issue and the consent of all parties.
