|b Violence against women is one of the most prominent issues that women suffer from, as this phenomenon has increased significantly in recent times, and violence represents a warning bell as it increases the social and psychological problems of women, Therefore, the need for community support for women who have been battered through education, rehabilitation, psychological support and providing them with information about The services provided to them, therefore, societies have tended to implement voluntary initiatives and encourage community members and groups to undertake them to achieve all forms of community support for battered women, as voluntary initiatives contribute to bringing about the required change in the attitudes and knowledge of community members regarding violence against women.

Therefore, the study aimed at Determining the role of community initiatives in achieving social support for battered women, and this study is classified with a descriptive study and used the comprehensive social survey method for officials who are (54) individuals and the battered women and their number (196) individuals.

The questionnaire tool was used and concluded that the initiatives have an effective role in achieving community support, especially Emotional and social support.
