Caring for people with disabilities is one of the features by which the progress of societies is measured, and providing the necessary care and services to them is considered one of the basic human rights internationally recognized, in addition to the rehabilitation and development of people with disabilities is an investment of human energies for the benefit of society and its members, the protection of persons with motor disabilities is mainly included Within the scope of protecting human rights in general so that it enjoys the same rights that all members of society enjoy without discrimination that aims to be free from need and fear and provide them with what confirms their rights to live in dignity in a manner that guarantees access to education, health services and safety networks that contribute to achieving social and psychological stability, For this reason, the current study aimed to determine the actual role of NGOs in achieving social protection towards people with motor disabilities, and included several basic concepts (NGOs - social protection - people with motor disabilities) and this study belongs to the pattern of descriptive studies, the social survey approach with its two types: the comprehensive social survey For all social workers in the civil societies working in the field of the physically disabled, The Social Survey by Sample Method: For people with motor disabilities who benefit from the programs and services provided to them from these associations, the study was applied to nine private societies, by limiting the total community to the current study during the period of data collection and those who hesitate to these associations in the total number (156) singles for the beneficiaries, The number of officials and specialists is 72, and the researcher determined the type of study sample as follows: The comprehensive count of the social workers working in the aforementioned societies, who are (72) singles, but the researcher was able to collect data from the number of (38) singles, And the researcher applied the law of the optimum size of the sample to the study population with frequent motor disabilities and beneficiaries from the aforementioned associations, who numbered approximately (156) singles, and according to the law of the optimum size of the sample, the study sample was determined in (100) individuals collected using the sample available for research or Based on chance, the results of the study, as determined by the questionnaire form, resulted in the most indications of the actual role of associations in achieving social protection is activating social responsibility towards those with motor disabilities, followed by building the capabilities of those with motor disabilities, The least of these are the services and programs provided for people with motor disabilities, while the results of the study, as defined by a questionnaire, showed that the most common phrases related to the reality of practicing the community-based rehabilitation model are building the capabilities of people with motor disabilities, followed by activating the social responsibility towards those with motor disabilities, and that the least of these phrases are for services and programs The introduction to people with motor disabilities came in the third and final order, and the study recommends the necessity of building networks for coordination and collective work between the various NGOs, and the use of experts and specialists from other bodies and organizations on how to develop financial resources, and work to find modern means of communication between NGOs, And work to strengthen the content of the training courses and link them to the actual work needs and the needs of the trainees in addition to their continuity, and work to diversify the programs and services provided for people with motor disabilities, and work to increase the resources and capabilities available to implement the association for its programs.
