Abstract EN

Firstly: Study problem: The issue of crises and disasters is one of the most important problems afflicting developed and developing societies alike, because of the effects and problems of these crises that hinder the progress of comprehensive development plans and programs provided by the state to face challenges in all social, economic, health, political and cultural fields.

Volunteering is not always considered a goal or goal in itself.

Rather, it is considered a means by which we can deal efficiently and positively with the problems of society, and it has a special importance in social work as it achieves more effectiveness for the services and support provided by the profession to its clients, so the participation of volunteers to provide community support to people with Coronavirus He achieved clear success in the Egyptian society through mutual positive interaction.

Social Work, as a humanitarian profession, has a role in addressing the various problems and crises of society, especially those directly related to the human being who is the focus of dealing.

Social Work deals with knowledge and professionally with society's problems, crises and disasters through the principles, strategies, techniques and tools it possesses capable of dealing with crises and disasters.

Secondly: The study concepts: A) Efforts.

C) Community Support.

Thirdly: Methodological procedures: According to its objectives, this study belongs to the type of descriptive studies because through this type of studies it is possible to obtain accurate information that depicts the reality and contributes to the analysis of its phenomena, and this is what the current research involves the efforts of the volunteer committees to achieve community support for those infected with corona virus, the study relied on the approach The scientific method using the comprehensive social survey method for members of youth volunteer committees in Luxor Governorate, and they are (77).samples.

Fourthly: Study Results: A- The study confirmed the correctness of the first hypothesis, which is that “the level of volunteer committees’ efforts to achieve community support for people living with the Coronavirus is high.

” B- The study confirmed the validity of the second hypothesis, which is “There is a statistically significant relationship between some demographic variables of the members of the volunteering committees and their identification of the efforts of the volunteer committees in achieving community support for people with Coronavirus” C- The study confirmed the validity of the third hypothesis, which is “There is a statistically significant relationship between some demographic variables for members of the volunteer committees and their identification of the difficulties facing the efforts of the volunteer committees in achieving community support for people living with Coronavirus”.

D- The study confirmed the validity of the fourth hypothesis, which is “There is a statistically significant relationship between some demographic variables of the members of the volunteer committees and their identification of the proposals facing the efforts of the volunteer committees to achieve community support for those infected with the Coronavirus.”
