The economic empowerment of Egyptian women is one of the most important issues of the Egyptian state.

In spite of the efforts exerted to empower women economically, there are many challenges that prevent this from happening.

Therefore, NGOs have tended to adopt the concept of empowering women as one of the strategies that aims at developing women .economically.

Itself The study aims to identify the role of NGOs in the economic empowerment of women by applying a questionnaire to a sample of beneficiaries of economic services in NGOs and a questionnaire questionnaire on those providing services in associations in Fayoum governorate, which is considered one of the poorest governorates in Egypt, The researcher concluded from the results of the theoretical and field analysis that despite the efforts exerted, it is still necessary to coordinate more to face the obstacles that impede the economic empowerment of women.

This is what calls for more effort and taking some Measures and procedures, leading them to achieve economic empowerment of women
