Abstract EN

This evaluative study aims to show the importance of future thinking in the civilizational renaissance project within contemporary Islamic thought.

It does so in order to search for this future thinking concept within modern Islamic thought, as well as to determine the path that leads to building the Islamic vision for Futures Studies.

The paper focuses on the works of one of the pioneers of contemporary Islamic thought, Malik bin Nabi.

Malik Ibn Nabi constantly refers to “the future” in his works, providing his readers with future perspectives and interesting strategic insights.

Based on the above, this study will attempt to answer the following questions: - What are the texts produced by Malik bin Nabi that relate to the future? - How may we evaluate his predictions of the future? - Did Malik Bin Nabi provide a clear roadmap to the future of the Islamic world? - Where did he predict the direction of the Muslim world going? How may his statements regarding the future be utilized to establish the science of futurology in the Islamic world?
