Abstract EN

This research paper shows the extent of awareness which the ruling regime in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoyed when it made the Arabic language the official language of the country and modified it to keep up with the modern innovations such as the technological development and the major transformations in the technical and scientific fields and guaranteed for it laws, legislations, measures and bills which achieve for it protection, widespreadness and establishment.

Moreover, it made the Arabic language the language for the 2030 future economic vision.

On the whole, they are decisions and legislations which reflect the extent of awareness which accompanies the decision makers in the kingdom since their decreeing of the ruling system starting with its first article and the extent of the benefiting of this aware (conscious) regime from the international experiences of some countries in their keenness on unifying their language policy and enforcing (empowering) it and their adherence to their mother tongue either at the written level or the oral one.

The research includes brief signs and hints which show the eminent position which the Arabic language occupies worldwide and in its Arabic and Islamic scope especially in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with its central and symbolic property and for being the protector of the Islamic and Arabic heritage in the shade of the strong link between the Holly Quran and the Arabic language.

The research crystallizes the sum of the results originating from the care of the regime to reinforce the position of the Arabic language in the fields of work, science, thinking patterns, marketing, culture, civilization and the establishments of the society and divided them into three kinds: 1.

The civilizational, social and cultural effects.

The employment effects.

The financial and economic effects.

The research concludes, through scientific analysis, thorough examination and conscious pursuing (following) of the efforts of other nations and opinions of linguists, historians and economists, many scientific results- scattered in the research paper- asserting the possibility of investing language in the development of human societies in the fields of economy, employment and development.

Accordingly, it emphasizes the awareness of the ruling regime in the kingdom of the possibility of investing the Arabic language in promoting economy and development in addition to establishing the pattern of civilizational, cultural and social values because of the being of the Arabic language a symbol of the identity of the nation in its past, present and future.
