The aim of this study is to investigate the reality and impact of economic policies through both fiscal and monetary policies on one of its main objectives, namely economic growth The effect of this on the Algerian economy, for this purpose was estimated a econometric model includes three variables: monetary mass, public spending and GDP (economic growth), This is for the period of time (1980-2017), The bounds test showed that there is a cointegration relationship .We estimated a comprehensive model that included both short and long-term models that showed a divergence in impact between the short- and long-term economic policies.
