This study aims to highlight the role of the agricultural sector as a strategic alternative to the development of national economy, which obliged government to seek alternative income for oil on sustainable.

The concern in activating the agricultural sector contributes to achieving self-sufficiency, and reduce import bill, because of algeria's multiple possibilities, which contribute effectively to the advancement of the sector.

This study concluded with the propos a strategic vision, with suggestions on activating the agriculture for its contribution to development economic.
