This research aims to study the effect of incentives on the performance of public sector employees in Jordan, which studied the Ministry of Labor as a government institute in Jordan and chose it as a case study.
This research also intend to identify the extent of the impact of personal variables on the performance of employees in the ministry of labor, this study used "questionnaire" to test its hypothesis , this questionnaire has been distributed to a random sample of employees of the Ministry of Labor in different regions, The data were statistically analyzed to reach the results of the research indicating that there is a positive correlation between the incentives received by employees of the Ministry of Labor and their job performance, But there was no relation to their qualifications, scientific and practical levels with their work performance.
The incentives were defined procedurally as the amount that the worker received in the study community -Ministry of Labor in Jordan - depending on the years of experience he has in the workplace.
The performance of employees is defined as a procedural definition of the worker effort made to accomplish the work by commitment made to it; the study identified the public scctor- research community-as a concept that indicates to government sector in Jordan.
