If modern societies are based on political, legal, administrative and citizenship values, traditional Arab societies have been based on descent ones, which is a key and fundamental input towards understanding the social and political structure of tribal societies by being an important element of individual membership within the group and its affiliation to it within the frame of social identity claiming, as well as the descent, whether imaginary or real is conceived as a an axis of unity and solidarity, through which social relations and links between individuals are established, and accordingly the roles functions and positions are determined as it was narrated by Ibn Khaldun.
