The research aims to analyze the relationship between foreign direct investment and small projects in Iraq for the period (2004-2018), and by assessing and analyzing the relationship in the application side in which the VAR model was used, it was found that there is a short-term equilibrium relationship between foreign direct investment and small projects in Iraq, in addition to That foreign direct investment had no effect on small projects in Iraq, as well as the existence of a weak positive relationship between them during the study period.
