Dans la pensée islamique contemporaine, un nouveau discours et un courant global sont apparus dans sa présence distinguée sur la scène intellectuelle contemporaine, car il ne se limitait pas à aborder les questions jurisprudentielles ou un appel politique à résister au colonialisme et à la subordination, mais plutôt un discours de renouveau qui procède de considérer l'islam comme un projet civilisé intégré qui ne concerne pas un environnement spatial ni une circonstance temporelle ni Une race spécifique, mais ce discours a été distingué dans son adoption de la littérature de base de la religion, ce qui a été appelé le courant de renouvellement civilisationnel.

Parmi les pionniers de cette tendance, on retrouve le penseur algérien Malik bin Nabi, qui était considéré par la plupart des chercheurs comme Ibn Khaldun de l'époque contemporaine.

D'une vision civilisationnelle globale et intégrée, Malik bin Nabi a montré une grande habileté à diagnostiquer la psyché européenne et à découvrir ses défauts et a vu qu'il y avait une tendance agressive dans les veines de la civilisation occidentale envers les autres, en particulier la civilisation islamique.
