Abstract EN

This research aims to review the role of value engineering in developing the performance of organizations.

In order to achieve this goal, a questionnaire consisting of (24) questions, including various value engineering applications and performance development measures, was designed for a sample of workers in the production and research and development departments of the Hasnawi Building Complex of (59) workers.

The data was analyzed relying on the statistical program (SPSS) and using a number of statistical methods, including arithmetic averages, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, correlation coefficient and simple regression coefficient.

The study concluded that there is a significant correlation and impact between the applications of value engineering and performance development in terms of profitability, in the light of which a set of recommendations has been formulated that hopefully, will benefit the stakeholders of the current study.
