Workaholism is one of the psychological concepts that has received increased interest across different fields and cultures, but it is noted that Arab studies in the field of Industrial and Organizational psychology have not paid attention to this phenomenon (concept), despite its importance and its impact on the individual, institution and society.

Through this research, we will try to shed light on the concept of work aholism, through theoretical frameworks that have been concerned with its study, identification and classification, and to clarify the various conceptions that have explained the nature of its structure, and we will also present some procedurs of its measurement as envisaged by previous research and studies.

We will also show the various tools that are designed to measure it.
