Abstract EN

Reaching a decent fitness state for the athlete without hindering his health has become an obsession that puts his sport carrier on the line.

The aim of this research was to show that, as well as exposing the repercussions on the athlete's health following different forms of addiction: sport addiction, steroids addiction, and drugs addiction.

We concluded that all athletes in any category and from any type should stay away from all forms of drugs and performance enhancing substances, as well as to avoid all sorts of physical effort abuse caused by sport addiction.
