Free poetry in Algeria lagged behind free poetry in the Arab East.

And contributed to its emergence the revolutionary liberation movement that the land of Algeria has witnessed because it changed many outdated values and changed the bad conditions.

Inspired by the Eastern poets, they supported it, as they found in it the desired example and the goal that the Arab aspires to, and it intersects with their rebellious poetry, which was searching for him for revolutionary models and creative contents that herald and change after the defeat of the Arin 1948.

It also flew around the Algerian revolution, its sons Abu al-Qasim Saadallah, Abu al-Qasim Khimar, and Muhammad Saleh Bawiya.

Poetry appeared at the hands of these poets, distinct compared to the traditional tendency that dominated Algerian poetry in the past, and in it renewed appearances came at a time when monotony dominated the pillars of literary life.
