Sufism is an ancient religious thought movement.

The present study is an attempt to discuss the development of the movement between the first and second centuries, in order to understand the most important ideas and developments that affected the mysticism particularly throughout the new era of the Muslim Ar' history, as well as the religious developments in order to identify the foremost Sufis in this era.
