In this research paper we are looking at the phonological phenomenon of glottalization /hamz that helps not only ameliorate the recitation of the Holy Quran, but also facilitate the production or pronunciation of sounds in it.

The research work deals with the definition of the glottal stop, the ways to soften or decrease it, it's rules, and types in the Holy Quran.
