Abstract EN

The Qur'an and the Sunnah are the legislative sources, which the Shari'a rulings are derived.

The understanding of the rulings of the Shari'a is valid only if it takes into account the requirements of the Arabic language, its semantic methods and the meaning of its words.

There have been many issues of structural, semiological, semantic and pragmatic interest, in which the Scholars of the principles of jurisprudence have precede them.

The researcher can only understand the words by standing on its epistymology, and how it is used.

It goes without saying that those scholasr have been interested in semantic investigations and have reached results of high scientific value that converge with many of the findings of semantic research among contemporary linguists in: generalization, specialization, ambiguity, reality and metaphor principle, verbal and other semantic issues.

From this perspective, the subject of our research paper is: The view of Scholars of the principles of jurisprudence in the linguistic sign in the light of the modern linguistics.

We also aspire to read this legacy, especially since most of the verses of the rulings are a sign of significance that It remains open through out the ages.
