Pricing mechanisms for Sukūk in Malaysia : comparative study between Sukūk and bonds

Abstract EN

This study aims to clarify the concepts related to Sukuk and bonds, as well as highlighting the mechanisms of Sukuk pricing in the Malaysian financial market, which guarantees returns from their placement and comparing them with the bond pricing mechanisms.

The study concludes that Sukuk pricing mechanisms depend on the market value of the underlying asset, & Bond pricing is based on credit rating.
