Abstract EN

The research aims at identifyingthe motivation level of the preventionfrom abusing drugsfor addicted adolescents.What’s the motivation level of the prevention from abusing drugsfor addicted adolescents in the Mediator Centre of Echelef state? Is there an influence on the motivation level of the prevention from abusing drugsfor adolescents due to certain variables (the type of drug substance, the number of abusing years, the reason behind abusing, the motivations of asking for remedy, and the number of treatments)? Is there a correlation between motivation and stop abusing drugs for adolescents? The descriptive approach was used with a sample of 15 adolescent abusers, whose ages are between 13-20 years old.

They were wilfully chosenat the Mediator Centre of Medicating Addiction, in Echelef city, through using the measuring tool developed by the researcher … for the sake of measuring the motivation to stop abusing drugs.

The research results have indicated that the level of prevention with the sample of abusers is average and there’s a relation between the level of motivation and the prevention from abusing due to certain variables: the type of drug substance, the number of abusing years, the reason behind abusing, the motivations of asking for remedy, and the number of treatments.

There’s also a correlation between motivation and stop abusing drugs for adolescents.
