Abstract EN

The study of this article aims to determine the extent to which Algeria contributes to its legal and institutional guarantees for the protection of working women under the various legal provisions of the Constitution and in the various laws of the labour system ; Not to mention the Social Security Act, by helping to create a balance between the two sides of their family and professional responsibilities ; By extension, ensuring the social and economic development of the country.

The study requires the descriptive and inductive analytical approach in most aspects of the study, by presenting and analyzing the constitutional legal texts related to the subject of the protection of working women, not to mention some of the tools of the comparative approach, to highlight the mechanisms for the protection of women working internationally,; to know what Algeria has adopted and what the international labour organizations have done in this regard.

In recent decades, women have been present in various sectors, but the size and quality of their presence depends on the nature and degree of development of countries' economies, which necessitated Algeria to introduce new mechanisms to empowerwomen to be entitled to the most legal and institutional guarantees.
