The aim of this research work is to highlight some possible means for, on the one part; better integrating literary texts in French as a foreign language class and, on the other part, installing and developing (inter) cultural competence among learners of French as a foreign language.
The reality of today’s class is quite different, as the fact shows that the intercultural remains very marginalized, and the literary texts as an adequate pedagogical support has become less solicited in the teaching/ learning of French language.
Our observation in the field, the interviews on the subject, as well as an overview that we carried out of the educational documentation, and of the set of literary texts in the textbooks, allow us to really affirm that the problem lies in the application of an educational recast and not in its development.
Modernizing and improving qualitatively the teaching of French as a foreign language by focusing on new ways of organizing its teaching and implementing a renovation plan are becoming more and more a need.
Abstract FRE
Ce travail de recherche a pour but de mettre l'accent sur quelques moyens possibles pour d'une part, mieux intégrer les textes littéraires en classe de FLE et d'autre part, installer et développer la compétence (inter)culturelle chez les apprenants de FLE.
La réalité de la classe d'aujourd'hui est toute autre, du fait que l'interculturel demeure très marginalisé, et le texte littéraire comme support pédagogique adéquat est devenu moins sollicité dans l'enseignement / apprentissage de la langue française.
Notre observation sur le terrain, les entretiens portant sur le sujet, ainsi qu'un survol que nous avons effectué de la documentation pédagogique, et de l'ensemble de textes littéraires dans les manuels scolaires, nous permettent d'affirmer réellement que le problème réside dans l'application d'une refonte pédagogique et non pas dans son élaboration.
Moderniser et améliorer qualitativement l'enseignement du FLE en se centrant sur les nouveaux modes d'organisation de son enseignement et la mise en œuvre d'un plan de rénovation deviennent de plus en plus un besoin.
