D'une littérature livresque à une poétique de la posture dans les écrits de leïla sebbar

Abstract EN

The present study sheds light upon the poetics of the posture inherent in Leila Sebbar’s writing, intertwining literary and referential discourse, which have had their origins since the author’s early childhood.

In this context, our reading is based on the perspective suggested by the references in a specific textual space to the book world of Leila Sebbar and its scriptural mode.

Elements that are meant to build a posture are thus listed in a summary table of references contained in our corpus architecturing two types of references representative of phases essential to the reconstruction of a collective imaginary: the book reference and the patronymic reference.

The evocation of the latter in a successive manner informs us about the cultural function of reading and constructs a metatextual reflection that allows us to qualify the author’s childhood in the light of the readings that shaped and marked her.

These convocations, both bookish and patronymic, reveal a quest for the universal language where the porosity of differences makes nostalgia for unity.
