Analytical philosophy made a qualitative shift after it had announced a new beginning for modern philosophical thinking; this beginning has grown upon the leavings of refuting and exclusively isolating metaphysics.

Not only this change, even the subject of classical philosophy, in its turn, changed.

Philosophy, according to modern philosophers of analysis, does no longer take themes from reality.

The themes of modern philosophy reside at rather analyzing the structure of linguistic discourse.

The change of the themes of philosophy, according to analytical philosophers, has led to focusing on language and this has ultimately been an important factor that has contributed in developing the linguistic research during the twentieth century.

In this vein, we call upon Russell's attitude in considering philosophy as nothing but a criticism to language.

The analytical movement is composed of secondary trends maintaining the trend of normal language 'Russell' as the most important one and the trend of conventional language, which is represented by the logical position having Carnap as a leader, that is based on the logical analysis of sentences and of linguistic issues.

Thus, Russell urged on the necessity of being attentive from the grammatical structure of sentences of normal language.

In order to manage the paradoxes, Russell has created the theory of descriptions which attempts to solve a sort of difficulties around the identity expressions.
