Abstract EN

This study examines Corruption Perceptions indexes in the public sector of Transparency International by addressing the indexes that evaluate the countries of the world and Algeria as well as the bases on which to rely on the process of measurement and evaluation, by addressing the six indexes out of the 13 indexes in which Algeria evaluates in all areas of governance and business environment in the public sector.

The study concluded that despite the establishment of anti-corruption bodies and the ratification of a set of laws that deal with the fight against corruption and prevention, however, the spread of corruption and the lack of a culture of transparency, integrity and values of accountability and accountability in the institutions and bodies of the public sector have become a cause for concern, this is explained by the continuing decline of Algeria's ranking in the Corruption Perceptions Index reports in recent years.
