Abstract EN

This research paper seeks to show manifistations and aspects of optimism phenomenon at Abu Ala'a Al-Maari.

And analyze it from literary perspective.

It also attempts to seek the truth and correct the arbitrary and unjust judgments, that say the blackness of the poet and his olute pessimism; the study relied on Al-Ma'ari's poetic speeches because it is the sincere document and the mirror that we see him through; as it represents a clear presentation of his environment, his thought and his method in life.
