Abstract EN

Manifestations of sorrow, anxiety, and loss are aspects of alienation sensation to human being since a long time up to our days.

Alienation sensation is considered one of the important old issues in literature for its connection to man due to social, psychological, and intellectual motifs.

Accordingly, Alienation phenomenon and loneliness feeling have an outstanding position in the Arabic poetry that nothing can confront.

This kind of verse was a reaction to the deterioration in the political, social, and economic conditions in the human communities.

The current study tackles alienation phenomenon as a prominent feature in Ali's Ken'an verse.

Influences of this phenomenon were observed on his creative poetic outcome.

In this study, we depended on the descriptive analytical approach to make its plan, taking into account the inquisition of the various types of alienation, then applying them on poetic samples to Ali Ken'an as a famous literary man in the contemporary Syrian verse.

This alienation phenomenon in Ali's Ken'an verse discovers its cognitive and spiritual hidden contents for he is a great literary man amon the discerning literary men in our contemporary time.
