حاولنا في هذه الدراسة و التي كان أساسها وثائق أرشيفية فرنسية من أرشيف أكس أون بروفنس (A.
N.
O.
M) الوقوف على مختلف نشاطات أهالي البلدية المختلطة (commune mixte) سوق أهراس –الأوضاع العامة فيها-قبيل اندلاع الثورة التحريرية (سنتي 1952-1953م) و جهود المصالح الإدارية الفرنسية كمصلحة الاستعلامات العامة في رصد التطورات الدينية و السياسية و الاجتماعية في عموم المنطقة وذلك بهدف مراقبتها و تقييم سيرها و حفظ الامن العام فيها.
و بعد تحليل مضامين هذه الوثائق سجلنا تأكيد مختلف التقارير حالة التخوف و القلق الدائمين اتجاه النشاط المتزايد لأهالي البلدية خاصة السياسي منه -نشاط مناضلي حركة انتصار الحريات الديمقراطية (M.

D)-ونشاط جمعية العلماء المسلمين خاصة التعليمي( التعليم الديني) وذلك رغم جهود الإدارة في مراقبته بمختلف الوسائل و محاولة توجيهه بما يخدم مصالحها كما أكدت الكثير من التقارير المؤشرة بصفة –سري- توقعاتها بوجود حراك شعبي وشيك وجب الاستعداد له و هو ما حدث فعلا حيث كانت منطقة سوق أهراس عموما بما فيها البلدية المختلطة ساحة للعمليات النوفمبرية الأولى
Abstract EN
In this study, based on French archival documents from the archives of Aix-en-Provence (ANOM), we tried to identify the different activities of the mixed commune of Souk Ahras at (1952-1953) and the efforts of the French administrative services, such as the public information service, to follow the evolution of the religious, political and social situation in the region.
These documents, we confirmed the various reports of constant fear and anxiety about the increasing activity of the municipality, especially the political movement, for freedoms (MTLD) and the activity of the Association of Muslim Scholars, (religious education).
Despite the administration's efforts to monitor it in various ways, many privacy reports have confirmed its expectations for an impending grassroots movement that should be prepared for its realization, for the first operations in November in this mixed municipality.
