The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the impact of the adoption of the interest mechanism on the economy in general and on investment in particular through reviewing evidence of the futility of this mechanism from the point of view of Shari'ah as it is forbidden and in practice, relying on proof or vice versa.

Abandoning it will have positive effects.

The study concluded that interest rate, such as capital cost, reduces the efficiency of investment by influencing inefficient inputs to increase the cost of production and output by reducing profit in the case of competition, while emphasizing the need to abandon the interest rate in the presence of a more profitable mechanism.
