This research consists of an introduction, five sections, and a conclusion.

As for the introduction, it presents the importance of the topic and the research plan.

The first section discusses the definitions of crime, bribery and other related terms, be they synonyms or antonyms.

The second section investigates the features of the person taking bribe and the basic element of the crime of bribery, namely the material element and the moral element.

The third section investigates the types of bribery: bribery related to the judiciary, bribery of intermediaries, and bribery to prevent injustice.

It also discusses modern issues that could be incorporated into bribery.

It explores the provisions related to each type of bribery.

The fourth section examines the methods of proving bribery in Islamic jurisprudence: confession, testimony, and irrefutable presumption.

It also discusses the legality of adopting these methods.

The fifth section dwells on the punishments of taking bribery: deprivation of possession, dismissal from office, and imposition of a fine.

It also examines the impact of repentance on discretionary penalties in Islamic jurisprudence.
