As a system, Islam has educational instructions that guarantee a happy married life, but sometimes people fail to obey these instructions.

Therefore, we find different types of disagreement, dispute, and violence between husband and wife.

This may be due to their ignorance of their mutual rights and the objectives of marriage.

This research paper points out the methods laid by Islam to solve the problem of violence that a married couple may have.

The paper explains the concept of marital violence, the reasons behind it, and the precautions to prevent it from the beginning.

The study suggests how to save married life in case of violence, and how to lift the oppression suffered by one of the two parties.

The paper touches on the penal laws laid to regard violence as a crime and to punish the perpetrator of it.

The ultimate aim is to stop this violence or to control it.
