Abstract EN

The current study aims to identify the psychological profile of problem-solving and behavioral problems; and the relationship between problem-solving and behavioral problems for children with learning disabilities.

The sample consisted of (45) children with learning disabilities enrolled in learning disabilities programs at government schools in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The problem-solving Scale, and behavioral problems Inventory was used.

The results indicated that the highest dimensions on the problem-solving style scale were the dimensions of general orientation and problem identification, while the lowest dimensions were self-monitoring; the hyperactivity, attention, and concentrations disorder were of the highest dimensions in the behavioral problems dimensions, followed behavioral conduct, anxiety and withdrawal.

The results show also to an inverse statistically significant relationship was found between each of the problem-solving style and behavioral problems.
