Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the rights of children and protect them from childhood abuse, while providing a model for child abuse represented in child labor in light of the legislative vision of the Egyptian reality.In the study, the researcher relied on the descriptive and analytical approach, as the study deals with a quantitative and analytical description of child rights and child labor as a model for child abuse, in addition to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, analyzing and comparing some of its aspects in the context of child abuse.

The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: 1- Legislation related to the rights of the child does not keep pace with or in line with international developments in the field of child rights.

2- There is no database to accurately determine the extent of the phenomenon of child labor, whether in the Egyptian countryside or in cities and governorates.

3- Lack of public awareness aimed at building stable and ethical human relationships that care for children, protect them, and preserve their deprivation of independence, aggression and abuse.

4- Harm is every form of abuse, exploitation or threat to a child, including physical abuse, psychological abuse, and sexual abuse.
