Population studies, with all its specializations and interests, are interested in studying the demographic characteristics and population composition, as this study reflects many demographic and environmental conditions prevailing in society.

The study shows that the percentage of the population of Izbat Al-Tahrir (Elsafeh) in the age group (0-14 years) amounted to 34% of the size of the population.

Liberation (tin), As for the elderly group (60 years and over), they account for 7% of the total population of the study area.

It is also evident that the illiteracy rate in Izbat Al-Tahrir (Elsafeh) is higher than the general average for the city, as an uneducated group in the study area reached 32% of the population of the study area.

The percentage increases slightly among females to reach 17% of the population of the study area, in contrast to males, the percentage reached 15% of the population of the study area, which negatively affects the awareness rate, preservation of the urban environment and the improvement of the quality of life in those areas, as was evident from the field study of Izbat Tahrir (Elsafeh) as it is famous for the spread of crime, which negatively affects the economic life in the city, as there are many families who have no one to support them, as the dependency rate reached 59% in 2019 within the study area.
