In March 2020, the World Health Organization announced that the newly created Corona Virus Covid 19 is a global pandemic, given that it is the largest health and social crisis in the twentieth century with negative, tremendous and dangerous repercussions for the lives of the peoples of the world.

The social work profession is one of the main humanitarian professions that concern individuals, groups, organizations and communities and helps people to enhance their capabilities, develop their resources, satisfy their needs and solve their problems, including dealing with epidemics and health crises, such as the current crisis resulting from the pandemic of the Corona virus.

The current research aims to clarify the role of the social work profession in facing the Corona Virus pandemic, and this will be done through a review of the following themes The International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) Announcement regarding the Corona Virus Pandemic, and its demands from the world's governments.
