As a new juristic issue in our modern age, the Bitcoin currency has caused a great uproar in the fields of law and jurisprudence.

The present research aims to study this issue from an Islamic juristic perspective in a scientific way.

The research paper consists of an introduction, two sections, and a conclusion.

The introduction includes a statement on the significance of the study, the research method, a review of literature, and the research plan.

The first section contains a definition of the Bitcoin.

It also deals with its origin, characteristics, advantages, disadvantages, and how to get the Bitcoin.

The second section includes a definition of currency, indicating its functions and the ruling of dealing with Bitcoin.

As for the conclusion, it has the findings of the research.
