Abstract EN

ah-based legal ruling concerning pilgrims' jogging between the two hills of Aṣ-Ṣafa and Al-Marwah, in terms of its obligatory conditions, voluntary aspects and other related issues.

The study consists of an introduction, a preface, two sections, six subsections, a conclusion and some appendixes.

The introduction explores the principle, definition and the rationale behind pilgrims' jogging.

It also presents the reasons behind choosing this subject, its significance, research plan and the methodology adopted.

The preface provides the manners and descriptions of pilgrims' jogging.

The first section discusses the legal ruling on pilgrims' jogging, its conditions, voluntary aspects, discouraged actions and permissible ones.

The second section dwells on some issues related to pilgrims' jogging and some mistakes thereof.

The conclusion provides the most significant findings and recommendations.

The appendixes include one for references and resources and another for the table of contents.

The significance of the study stems from its relation to the rituals of Hajj and ˁUmrah, which are part of the practical acts of worship.

The study concludes that pilgrims' jogging is a constitutive condition of Hajj and ˁUmrah; hastening is permissible in the new place constructed for this purpose.

There are some mistakes that may happen during pilgrims' jogging.

The present researcher recommends to study the legal rulings related to holy places, such as Mina, Muzdalifah, and ˁArafah in the light of the Qur'an and the Sunnah.
