هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة مساهمة التخطيط الحضري في إبراز جمالية الشارع الرئيسي بوسط مدينة سطيف بالنظر للعناصر الجمالية المشكلة لهذا الفضاء الحضري و تتمحور الإشكالية حول أهم الموجودات و العناصر المخططة التي تساهم في إضفاء القيم الجمالية المرجوة إضافة إلى سلوك الأفراد و الجماعات داخل الشارع الرئيسي.
و تأسيسا على ما سبق اعتمدنا على سؤال بحثي موجه للدراسة باعتبارها استكشافية استطلاعية.
كما استعنا بمنهج دراسة حالة الشارع الرئيسي بوسط المدينة هذا الأخير الذي يعتبر عينة الدراسة النموذجية بكل مقوماته المادية وغير المادية.
كما استخدمنا تقنية الملاحظة القصدية و المقابلة و الاستمارة من أجل البحث في هذا الموضوع المهم جدا في حياة المدينة الجزائرية و توصلنا إلى وجود علاقة قوية بين التخطيط الحضري الناجح و جمالية الشارع الرئيسي بوسط مدينة سطيف من خلال إبراز أهم العناصر الجمالية المكونة للشارع و مساهمته في تنظيم السلوكيات الفردية و الجماعية لمستخدمي الشارع
Abstract EN
This study aims to identify the role of the urban planning in displaying the aesthetics of the main street downtown Setif, taking into consideration the aesthetic elements which shape this urban space.
It revolves around the most important planned elements that contribute to the desired aesthetic values, in addition to individuals and groups’ behavior within the main street.
In this respect, we relied on research directed question for study, as considering an exploratory study.
Besides, we relied on studying the case of the main street downtown as an approach, which is regarded as a typical study sample including all its material and nonmaterial elements.
This research also uses the technique of intentional observation, the interview and the questionnaire, in order to raise this important question in the life of the Algerian city.
Our study reached a strong relationship between the successful urban planning and the aesthetic of the main street down town Setif through demonstrating the most important elements of the street's aesthetic, and its contribution in regulating the individual and collective behaviors.

Cette étude vise à explorer le rôle de la planification urbaine dans la mise en valeur de l'esthétique de la rue principale du centre-ville de Sétif et ce, en fonction des éléments esthétiques formant cet espace urbain.
Notre problématique se base sur les atouts nécessaires et les éléments planifiés qui contribuent aux valeurs esthétiques souhaitées, ainsi que sur les comportements des individus et des groupes sociaux au sein du centreville.
En nous référant à ces données, nous avons opté pour une question de recherche orientée vers une étude de nature exploratoire.
Nous avons également adopté une approche de type étude de cas de la rue principale au centre-ville en considérant ce dernier comme un échantillon d’étude avec toutes ses composantes matérielles et non matérielles.
En ce sens, nous avons utilisé la méthode d’observation intentionnelle, l’entretien et le questionnaire, afin de mettre l’accent sur ce sujet qui suscite un grand intérêt dans la vie de la ville algérienne.
Au terme de cette étude, nous sommes parvenu à établir un lien étroit entre le succès de l'urbanisme et l'esthétique de la rue principale du centre-ville de Sétif, tout en mettant en évidence l’apport des éléments les plus importants de celle-ci ayant contribué à organiser les comportements individuels et collectifs des usagers de la rue
