Abstract EN

Anmaz Alfadha Al-Notee's novel is the embodiment of an important literary experience in the Iraqi literature in particular, and the Arab in general.

It is a novel that dives into the depths of the self and attempts to discover its hidden meaning according to an interactive narration system empty from looseness.

Starting with direct narration of events and actual imaging that appeared from the first start for the title of the novel (Alnotee), the navigator responsible for the management of the ship in sea, hence from here crystallized the first features of the narration process within the novel, and the author tries to reveal himself through the other, which suffers from alienation as the same Al-Notee's alienation.

This formed a similar concern in front of the journey to discover that other may be, and of course, which is in front of the journey which might be him.

Naturally, by continuous travelling and navigation made it ranged between the sense of belonging / not belonging, between turbulence / stability, in such a way that made the text of the novel divided between the different platforms, thresholds, and chapters that is full of points of view, which made it a novel in the area (meta narration).

As well as, it revealed lightening relationships contributed in creating attractive spaces to the recipient and a tight plot which does not know slack and softening, which made it more like a portrait, especially as it is a novel coming out of journeys of literature and inside it, very close from them caring for the affection of the text and created the wanted harmony, as well as being in the category of long novels, but it was able to stop the drafts of drowning and drowning in description, to enter under the sail of that bitter conflict between the sea passenger and (I am the other).

Al-Notee which drives the event according to what he wants on the one hand, and that the other who draws his weapon rejecting with his face and between them a world full of contradictions situating us in front of the dichotomy of the intertwined and diverse at the same time.
