The current research aims at determining the role of the school activities in the art education in the design work of the middle school students in the center of Baquba district.

The two studies highlighted the importance of highlighting the technical school activities in the design work as it is a technical process that involves creativity in selecting elements and distributing them inside the space to perform The current research community consists of the fifth grade students in Diyala / Baquba district according to the lists prepared by the Diyala Education Directorate for the academic year (2018/2019) with the number of middle schools (19) schools and the sample was chosen intentionally For the fifth grade, the first course (biological, applied) of the school of Juwairiya bint al-Harith for girls and the number of (150) students affiliated to Buhraz and followed the descriptive approach to the search results and researchers prepared the questionnaire as the optimal and most successful tools and tools to get to know the information so face The questionnaire to the students of the preparatory stage fifth grade preparatory (bio) to identify their role in the technical activities of the design work.

The results of the research according to the form of the activities of the school for design work, that the activities of the school role in the design work of students.

The researchers recommend a number of recommendations and proposals to complement the research and development of it, the most important of which is to focus on enhancing the role of school activities in the design work of students in the preparatory stage.
