The study examined the physical and chemical properties of soils and their analysis and the most significant spatial relations in many environmental phenomena's in the District of Bani Saad.
The researcher relied on office and field work, and found that the area of study has a different variant (20) types of soil samples conducting on them chemical and physical analysis.
The study of the geological composition of the area of study shows that it is a modern sediment from the four-year period which is part of the sediment of the sedimentary plain.
The classification of land according to its productivity, depending on the 1975 Iraqi classification of the production capacity classified the soil of the area of study within the first five varieties and dealt with the most important environmental problems affecting the soil, including the problem of salinity, erosion, soil poverty and desertification, and the soils were classified according to the American classification(FAO) for Iraqi soil including the area of study.
