Abstract EN

The study aims of the current research is to find out the level of students' attitudes toward the teaching profession in the Faculty of Basic Education - Diyala University and to identify the differences between the average responses of the research sample according to the variable of the department (scientific - human) and the gender variable (male - female) For the academic year 2016-2017 the second course, and the researchers used the trend scale towards the profession of education as a tool of the current research and it is (24) paragraph and the results were extracted by the appropriate statistical means, and the sample of the study (868) students, and the study reached the following results: 1- The trend of students of the Faculty of Basic Education towards the profession of education was positive at an average level.2- There are statistically significant differences between the mean of the responses of the research sample at the level of (0.05) according to the gender variable (male - female) in favor of females.3- There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) depending on the variable specialization (scientific - human).
